Celebrity Wedding

Last year, I was able to compile the list of couples that tied the knot (Celebrity Weddings 2008). The year may not have ended yet but I think it’s high time to have another long list of celebrity weddings.

2009 Celebrity Weddings (January – June 2009)

1. Josh Duhamel and Stacy Ferguson (Fergie of Black-eyed Peas) got married in a grand Malibu wedding last January 10, 2009. The wedding took place at the Church Estates Vineyards and attended by about 400 guests. Fergie wore a dress by Dolce and Gabanna.

2. Kristy Swanson and Lloyd Eisler got marriedon February 7, 2009 in San Luis Obispo, California.

3. Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault got married in a romantic civil ceremony on Valentine`s Day, in Paris, France. Their second wedding ceremony took place on April 25, 2009 in Venice, Italy. The bride wore a Balenciaga wedding gown by Nicholas Ghesquiere.

4. Adriana lima and NBA player Marko Jaric got married in a small, private civil ceremony in Jackson Hole, Wyoming on February 14, 2009.

5. Supermodel Gisele Bundchen and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady tied the knot on February 26, 2009 in a small Catholic ceremony in Los Angeles, California. On April 5, 2009, the couple remarried in Costa Rica. The bride wore dress and veil designed by famed fashion designer John Galliano.

6. Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams got married on March 10, 2009 in Savannah, Georgia. Mandy wore a lacy, cream dress and flat sandals, while Ryan wore a pair of tight skinny jeans, a T-shirt and trainers.

7. David Letterman married long-time girlfriend, Regina Lasko on March 19, 2009 at the Teton County Courthouse in Choteau, Montana. Their son Harry Joseph Letterman was with them during the wedding ceremony.

6. Bruce Willis and Emma Heming tied the knot on March 21, 2009 at the Turks and Caicos islands in the Caribbean. Since the said ceremony was not legally binding, the couple got married again in a civil ceremony in Beverly Hills six days later.

7. Tennis player Roger Federer married  former WTA player Mirka Vavrinec on April 11, 2009 at the registrar’s office in Basel, Switzerland. The  bride wore an empire waist wedding dress by Oscar de la Renta. The groom wore a three-piece suit by Tom Ford. They met while competing for Switzerland in the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

8. Tennis player Andy Roddick and Brooklyn Decker were married  in a sunset ceremony at his home in Austin, Texas on April 17, 2009. The bride wore a fitted custom Vera Wang dress with rhinestones streaming down the back.

9.  Actress Maggie Gyllenhaal and her boyfriend of seven years, Peter Sarsgaard were married on May 2, 2009 in Brindisi, Italy.

10. Mike Tyson and Lakiha Spicer got married in the La Bella Wedding Chapel at the Las Vegas Hilton hotel-casino on June 6, 2009.

10. Kendra Wilkinson and and NFL player Hank Basset tied the knot on June 27, 2009 at the Playboy Mansion in California. The bride wore a beautiful wedding dress by Michael Barin.
