12. Robert Redford married longtime partner, German artist Sibylle Szaggars in Hamburg, Germany on July 11. 2009. The wedding took place at Hotel Louis C. Jacob in front of 30 guests.

13. Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan got married on July 11, 2009 at Church Estate Vineyards in Malibu, California. The bride looked beautiful in a strapless wedding gown designed by Reem Acra.

Last year, I was able to compile the list of couples that tied the knot (Celebrity Weddings 2008). The year may not have ended yet but I think it’s high time to have another long list of celebrity weddings.

2009 Celebrity Weddings (January – June 2009)

1. Josh Duhamel and Stacy Ferguson (Fergie of Black-eyed Peas) got married in a grand Malibu wedding last January 10, 2009. The wedding took place at the Church Estates Vineyards and attended by about 400 guests. Fergie wore a dress by Dolce and Gabanna.

2. Kristy Swanson and Lloyd Eisler got marriedon February 7, 2009 in San Luis Obispo, California.

3. Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault got married in a romantic civil ceremony on Valentine`s Day, in Paris, France. Their second wedding ceremony took place on April 25, 2009 in Venice, Italy. The bride wore a Balenciaga wedding gown by Nicholas Ghesquiere.

1. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes Wedding Cake is a five-tiered, white chocolate mousse confection decorated with marzipan roses.

2. Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley’s wedding cake was created by Perfect Endings. It’s a four-tier, half-vanilla, half-chocolate.

3. Tony Parker and Eva Longoria’s wedding cake reportedly costs $40,000. Sam Godfrey of Perfect Endings created the red five-tier wedding cake.

Mark Wahlberg, 38, and his longtime girlfriend, Rhea Durham, 31, tied the knot last August 1, 2009 at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Beverly Hills.

The  bride wore a white strapless dress with silver embroidery. The couple have been blessed with 3 children. They had been together since 2001.

President Barack Obama Jr and Michelle Obama got married on October  18, 1992  at the  Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, Illinois. The reception was held at the South Shore Cultural Center.

Here’s a list of February 2009 Weddings:

1. Skating with Celebrities winners Kristy Swanson and Lloyd Eisler were married on February 7, 2009. The 39-year old bride wore a strapless ivory wedding gown by Amy Michelson and shoes by Carmen Steffens. The groom wore a a tux by Nicole Miller.

2. Salma Hayek, 42, and Francois-Henri-Pinault, 46, tied the knot in a private ceremony in the City Hall of the Sixth Arrondissement in central Paris on on Valentine’s Day.

This is a first marriage for the actress and a second for the French tycoon. The couple has a daughter named Valentina Paloma Pinault born on March 9, 2007. 

3. Supermodel Adriana Lima got married to NBA star Marko Jaric. The couple also got married on Valentine’s Day. The couple eloped  in a small civil ceremony in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. According to the Victoria’s Secret Angel, “We are really looking forward to a big romantic wedding this summer with all of our friends and family.”

 
4. Gisele Bundchen and NFL star Tom Brady,31, had reportedly tied the knot on February 26, 2009 in an intimate ceremony at the St. Monica Catholic Church in Santa Monica, California.

The 28-year old supermodel Gisele wore a  form-fitting ivory lace strapless gown with a trumpet skirt, scalloped edges, long train and a floor-length veil with attached handmade satin roses and attached satin headband, all by Dolce & Gabbana.

Fergie, 33 and Josh Duhamel, 36, tied the knot January 10, 2009 at private ceremony at the Church Estates Vineyards in Malibu, California. Fergie a.k.a Stacey Ferguson wore a white ruched, corseted wedding gown designed by Dolce & Gabbana. The groom also wore Dolce & Gabbana. The couple met in 2004 and got engaged in 2007. I cannot wait to see pictures of Fergie’s wedding dress.

Here’s a list of celebrities that got married this year (2008).

1. Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds had a New Year’s Day wedding on a private island off Bora Bora in French Polynesia. The bride wore a custom-designed form-fitting wedding dress by stylist and designer Sugia Nazel and Jill Baracci, designer and owner of Baracci boutique.  The groom wore a cream suit and vest with an off-white handkerchief.
